Saltburn Vets is an independently owned small animal practice and is operated by Vet James Haddow and his wife Tereena Haddow. With over 65 years combined experience in animal welfare you can rest asured that your furry family member is in good hands.

Situated on the main road through Saltburn we are ideally located to serve the local animal population of Saltburn and surrounding areas.

Saltburn Vets is also proud to offer an Ophthalmic Referral Service to all local practices.

MICROCHIPPING

 

We offer Microchipping for all types of pets.

As of 6th April 2016 all dogs over 8 weeks old must be Microchipped by law.

VACCINATIONS

 

We offer a comprehensive vaccination service for dogs, cats, rabbits and can give advice on ferret vaccines.

The Practice is also geared up for Pet Passports, Both for Rabies Vaccination, Pet Passport issue and exportation advice

OUR PRACTICE

Our new small animal Veterinary Surgery opened on 12th February 2018 on Windsor Road in Saltburn By The Sea with lead Veterinary Surgeon James Haddow and wife Tereena Haddow at the Helm.

The Surgery is equipped for consultations, routine procedures, nurse clinics and surgery.

PRIVACY STATEMENT FOR SALTBURN VETS

 

In accordance with the new GDPR laws that came in on the 25 th May 2018, we would like to assure all our clients of the following:

 

Any date given by our clients referring to name, address, phone number and email addresses are kept on our computer system only.

 

Our back up system is governed by vet space, who have their own privacy and security, but are governed by both our security and the governments requirement.

 

Any payments made by debit/credit cards or by direct debit will generate an advice slip. These slips are not kept on site but in a secure location and have no details pertaining to the person(s) paying.

 

Data regarding your pet will be passed to any other practice, on request, as per the rules of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS), without your data attached, if necessary.

 

Any referral cases will be treated as shared clients and as such data will be passed from your home practice to this practice and vice versa as necessary to keep your pets data up to date.

 

Any photographs or x-rays taken of your pet may be shared or used on our website or facebook, but no owner details, including the name of the pet will be used without consent.

 

All data protection has always been taken seriously by this practice, including before the new laws came into force. This means that data collected prior to 25 th May 2018 will be treated exactly the same as data collected after that date.
